I started to take classical Guitar lessens with Alexandre about two years ago and probably can my call myself very like to having found such a talent as Alexandre. I made really good progress from the practical and theoretical part. As being an intermediate player, he has much patience, keeps challenging you with new repertoire and explains you well how to improve. He adjusts the style to your needs and what you like to play in the schedule you wish. Very friendly and absolutely highly recommendable teacher!

Alexandre has greatly helped me as a beginning guitarist to master my greatest passion: Brazilian music. From the very start, he always managed to give my enthusiasm a tremendous boost; each lesson was inspiring and motivating. What stood out most to me was his expertise and thorough preparation — he considered exactly what I needed for every lesson and responded perfectly to it.
Each lesson felt tailor-made. Sometimes he would create transcriptions of songs I had mentioned wanting to learn. He listened to my wishes but also challenged me to try new styles and techniques.

I followed once a week Alexandre Dandelot's singing lessons last year, in a music school in Lyon (France).
It was a precious help for me, and I made a lot of progress thanks to him.

English : Experienced guitarist, I took some guitar lessons with Alexandre in order to learn new techniques and to renew my playing, left hand as well as right hand. He is a specialist in Latin music and left-hand arrangements and he was able to introduce me to new aesthetics and types of playing while adapting to my needs. Being also part of a Latin music band directed by Alexandre, I appreciated his way of managing a group, his ability to listen and his professionalism.

I took lessons with Alexandre for a bit less than 2 years and his lessons allowed me to pass important steps in my vocal practice and to gain confidence! Good teacher, offering the right exercises to evolve, adapting to requests and flexible (regular courses by video during the pandemic) I can only recommend Alexandre as a teacher!

Alexandre taught me the guitar last year, his classes were great because he always let me choose what I wanted to do! We worked on a few of my own songs and he helped me perfect them. He gave me this amazing technique to find jazz chords more easily all over the fretboard, I’ve been using it a lot since!

I was also part of one of his choirs, and I can say he’s got good advice for singers too!

I've been attending Alexandre's courses for adults in Villeurbanne's Conservatory (France) for one year. He taught me guitar as well as musical theory. I had Alexandre as a choir teacher in Lyon, France, in a course entitled "Chant du monde" for a year and it was a great experience. I had the feeling of being accompanied with sensitivity while having great freedom. His proposals were varied, original and attentive to the singers. I had a lot of pleasure singing, while learning a lot. He is a great teacher with whom I would have had the pleasure of continuing for another year, but at who I wish good road in the Netherlands! :)
