My goal as a teacher is to switch on the light and show them that it’s not a monster at all, but actually a puzzle, a game, and sometimes even a bit of magic. I believe maths should feel less like a subject and more like a puzzle waiting to be solved. My classes are designed to be interactive, lively, and practical. I use:

Games, challenges, and riddles to spark curiosity.

Real-life examples (budgeting, travel distances, sports statistics) to make maths useful and relevant.

Technology and visual tools like GeoGebra, Desmos, and quizzes to make abstract concepts come alive.

Group activities where students learn from each other, not just from me.

A supportive, encouraging environment where making mistakes is seen as a step toward learning.

A Typical Lesson Flow

1. Kick-off: Start with a quick puzzle, funny maths fact, or brain teaser.


2. Explore: Introduce the topic with a real-life story or visual example.


3. Learn Together: Step-by-step explanation, with plenty of questions and interaction.


4. Hands-on Practice: Students solve problems in teams or individually, while I walk around giving tips.


5. Wrap-up: A short recap game, quiz, or student explanation of what they learned.
