Over Bea
My musical journey began 20 years ago, and I am now a freelance musician with a Master’s in Live Electronics from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam.
In 2019, after completing my Bachelor’s degree in Classical Viola Performance in Barcelona, I felt the need for a new direction. I decided to put into practice all the music theory I had learned over the years and began recording, producing, and mixing my own music.
This has led me to do sound design for films and interdisciplinary performances, editing podcast and composing music for diverse projects. Beyond commissioned work, I also develop my own solo music, performing in venues such as Radion (Amsterdam) and Romantso (Athens).
My expertise in teaching: all the insides of Ableton Live software, how to build and control a live set, mixing, producing and editing inside the software; Electronic music practice (recording, looping integrating acoustic instruments, sound synthesis, audio manipulation and sound design); Music composition, Advance rhythms and music theory.

The world of electronic music can feel overwhelming at first, and knowing where to start isn’t always easy. My goal as a teacher is to help you create the music you truly want to make, at your own pace, to make your creative process flow.
What could you expect from the sessions ?
- Ableton Live: From Basics to Advanced levels
- Electronic Music Gear: Understanding audio interfaces, microphones, loopers, MIDI controllers, and more.
- Ear Training & Music Analysis: Analyze the songs, tracks, and sounds that inspire you to understand their musical elements.
- Sound Effects & Mixing: EQ, compression, distortion, reverb, panning, etc.
- Sound Processing & Manipulation: Advanced techniques to design unique sounds from scratch (stretching, pitch shifting, deconstruction, and more).
- Music theory and creative tools.
I will focus on personalized guidance (no matter if you have not started yet, or want to develop your skills further) by helping you overcome doubts and supporting you on your journey into the exciting world of music creation!
