Over Andreas
I am Andreas, a 26 year-old trombonist coming from Greece. I've been living in Belgium since September 2022. In 2024 I obtained my Bachelor's diploma from the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp, where I am currently doing my master's.
I finished my studies in Greece back in 2019, and since then my experience as a professional musician has ranged from wind bands to some of the most prestigious orchestras of the country, as well as teaching privately.

I approach my lessons methodically, giving emphasis on the fundamentals, while making the lesson as fun and engaging for the student as possible. My lessons are targeted at starting as well as intermediate students of trombone, music theory/harmony, history of music.
In general, I keep a moderate pace through my lessons. I like to provide as much information as possible without overwhelming the student. It goes without saying that the pace can easily change depending on the level and eagerness of each student.
A typical first series of lessons for a complete beginner in trombone would look like this:
1st lesson - Getting to know the instrument and its parts, breathing excercises, trying to produce sound using the mouthpiece, and then the instrument.
2nd lesson - First sounds on the instrument, familiarization with the positions.
3d lesson - Focus on making a nice sound with the trombone.
etc.
My goal is that by the end of the 5th lesson the student can play a short melody that they enjoy.
