Over Olivier
I was born in Congo and I am 22 years old. I have been playing piano for about 5 years, completely self-taught. In that time, music has taken me further than I ever expected.
I have released two albums of original music, performed as a solo pianist and with my band, appeared on the RTL 4 television program De Piano, and performed twice at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam.
My path has been real. Learning the piano on my own taught me not only how to play, but also how to struggle, search, and eventually find your own musical voice.
Because of this, I understand what it feels like to start from zero. In my teaching, I focus on helping students find clarity in their goals and guiding them step by step, whether that is learning songs, developing technique, improvising, or composing their own music.

My teaching starts by understanding your goals as a pianist. Whether you want to play songs, improve technique, learn improvisation, or start composing, I adapt the lessons to your personal direction and level.
In lessons we can work on piano technique, voicings, rhythm, ear training, learning songs, improvisation, and composition. I also focus strongly on listening skills, helping you understand music more deeply and develop your own musical voice.
A typical lesson combines practical playing with simple musical concepts that you can immediately apply. My approach is practical and focused on helping you grow as a musician.
