Over Jen-Hong
Hello! I am a passionate saxophonist and educator based in Amsterdam, dedicated to sharing the joy of music with people of all ages and backgrounds.
Having completed my master's degree at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, I have dedicated years to refining my craft and performing internationally. However, my true passion lies in teaching—seeing the exact moment a student unlocks a new sound, gains confidence, or simply has fun playing a melody is what drives me.
Whether you want to pick up a new hobby, master a specific piece, or explore your musical potential, I am here to guide you with patience, enthusiasm, and a personalized approach. Let’s make music together!

Whether you are picking up the saxophone for the very first time or looking to rediscover your passion for music, my lessons are tailored to your personal goals in a relaxed and supportive environment.
My teaching focuses on building a solid foundation in breathing, posture, and tone production, while making learning fun and rewarding. A typical lesson includes gentle warm-ups, tone exercises, and working on fun melodies or pieces you love.
As a graduate of the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, I break down techniques into simple, easy-to-follow steps. Complete beginners of all ages are very welcome!
