My name is Ignacio, I am a professional contrabassist, electric bassist and composer from Madrid, Spain that came to Amsterdam to study the bachelor in jazz music in the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. Modern jazz is my main carreer focus, but I have experience playing a lot of different genres like rock, soul, funk or latin music.

I love teaching and have experience with different levels, from extremely begginers to advanced intermediate.
The lessons will be completely personalized, so we will focus in your interests, although I will also try to show you some things you have never been exposed to!
My lessons will also include a personalized amount of theorical knowledge, depending in your interests and aspirations, always in an understandable and practical way! With the possibility of going in depth into topics like composition and arangment.
I also offer ensemble lessons, where we can put together a band an put in practice the knoledge of the instrument lessons and explore really different topics like improvisation, interplay and how to lead a band.
