I have a master's degree in Comparative Literature from the University of Amsterdam. During my bachelor, where I studied English and Japanese, I took specific classes on the didactic of foreign languages and on translation. I have obtained the Advanced certificate in English and I currently work with the students of the Gerrit Rietveld Academie, an art academy in Amsterdam, where I assist the head of the jewelry department.

My method of teaching consists mainly in the listening and repetition of clusters of words or topics, through a conversational practice. I have experience in teaching private lessons to beginners, mostly teenagers. Through a casual approach, the students will learn conversational patterns and remember words. I am open to tailor made classes in order to meet the needs of the learners. I also encourage the translation of song lyrics in the free time and review them with the students, for a playful approach.
