Hallo! Mijn naam is Felicia Soo en ik ben een Chinese Native Teacher sinds 2016.
De afgelopen zeven jaar heb ik Chinees aan meer dan 300 studenten onderwezen. Ik spreek zes talen: Mandarijn Chinees, Kantonees Chinees, Italiaans, Engels, Roemeens en Maleisisch. Ik kan u helpen Chinees te leren, ongeacht uw taalvaardigheid of leeftijd. Ik kan u helpen bij de voorbereiding op examens, het verbeteren van uw conversatie, grammatica en uitspraak, en het behalen van de taalcertificeringen van HSK1 tot HSK6 en HSKK. Als u een bedrijf heeft, kunt u zich inschrijven voor mijn cursus zakelijk Chinees. Ik kan u de juiste manier laten zien om Chinese karakters te schrijven met een grafisch tablet, met de hand of met een toetsenbord. De lessen zijn één op één en op maat voor iedere leerling. Naast de daadwerkelijke lestijd kan ik eventuele twijfels die je hebt met betrekking tot de Chinese taal beantwoorden. Ik ben een fulltime docent, dus je kunt elke dag van maandag tot en met vrijdag van 8.30 tot 18.00 uur bij mij les krijgen. Stuur mij een verzoek en ik antwoord u binnen twee uur. Mis deze kans niet om zeer interessante Chinese lessen te starten.
U kunt kiezen uit deze cursussen:
Voor elke cursus voorzien materiaal: PowerPoint, audio, afbeeldingen en miniquiz.
1) Snelcursus voor beginners (niveau A1/HSK1).
— Als je nog nooit Chinees hebt gestudeerd en de praktijk wilt leren zonder karakters te onthouden.
— Met deze cursus kun je jezelf voorstellen, de datum en tijd doorgeven, bestellen bij een restaurant en gaan winkelen.
2) Conversatielessen
— Deze cursus geeft je de mogelijkheid om dagelijks een gesprek te voeren met een native speaker. We zullen praten over alledaagse onderwerpen en internationaal nieuws.
— Ik heb 40 onderwerpen voor het beginnersniveau, 175 onderwerpen voor het tussenniveau en 85 onderwerpen voor het gevorderdenniveau voor je voorbereid.
3) Scholastische cursus op maat (niveau A2/B1/B2/C1).
– Als je een middelbare school- of universiteitsstudent bent.
— Deze cursus helpt je examens te halen of je voor te bereiden op het volgende schooljaar.
We gebruikten de boeken die op school of op de universiteit werden gebruikt.
4) Gestructureerde cursus voor Chinees certificaat (HSK 2/3/4/5/6).
— De HSK-test (Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi) meet het vermogen van niet-moedertaalsprekers om de Chinese taal te gebruiken.

Perfect! My 15 year old son has had the pleasure of benefiting from Felicia's Mandarin lessons. In just a few weeks he has gained confidence in speaking and developed his written skills. In addition to the quality of her teaching and materials, Felicia was able to quickly understand his personality and adapt the sessions to make them fun. Perfect! I'm finding my lessons with Felicia enjoyable and very helpful for improving my Cantonese vocabulary. During the lessons we have a conversation in Cantonese as much as possible and Felicia teaches me any words I dont know or am unsure about. After each lesson she sends me notes with phonetic pronunciation and voice recording of any new words covered. The voice recording is especially helpful

Perfect! Felicia is a fun and welcoming teacher eager to get moving as quickly as possible. I have found the lessons are moving at a good pace whilst challenging me. Felicia is quick to respond to messages via Whatsapp and email and keen to see progress each lesson. I am an intermediate Chinese learning, revising my Chinese after a break of 10 years. I think Felicia is an excellent Chinese teacher. She prepares well for lessons developing interesting exercises which stimulate conversation (the area I want to focus on). She follows up quickly with vocab and key points from the lesson, and is prepared to answer additional questions and recommend useful materials eg podcasts. She is also very organised and reliable about class times etc.
Felicia is an excellent teacher. She is adaptable, willing to discuss any topic, and will make changes based on the skills and preferences of her students. Felicia makes me very happy, and I hope to continue with her for a very long time.

I previously had an ok understanding of Chinese but struggled to communicate confidently and found learning how to read characters challenging. I've had 20 lessons with Felicia and found her to be a great teacher. I'm working on an exam with her. At first, I tried to study for the exam by myself, but I realized that I need someone who can help me with it. For that purpose, she is perfect for me.
I was so surprised that she has tons of materials for the test. She is good at finding my weak areas and using materials and methods such as pronunciation, grammar, and phrasal verb studies to help strengthen these areas. I found working with her is much easier to prepare for the test.
The other thing that I like about her is she is a really passionate teacher. She always tries to do her best in the lesson. Sometimes, there are moments where we've done our work for a lesson, and we only have one minute or so. However, she tried to find what she can do until the last minute.

She is a super likable person and I feel I had good progression and will really recommend her to everyone!
