My name is Göksu, and I am a violinist currently continuing my musical education in the Netherlands. Music has been a part of my life from a very young age, and over the years I have gained valuable experience through solo performances, orchestral work, chamber music, and international music festivals.
I have performed as a substitute musician with the Presidential Symphony Orchestra of Northern Cyprus since 2015 and have represented my country at international events, including performances at the European Parliament in Brussels and the European Youth Event in Strasbourg. I have also participated in the Apple Hill Chamber Music Workshop in the United States, where I received the Playing for Peace Scholarship.
These experiences have taught me not only how to become a better musician but also how important mentorship, discipline, and encouragement are in a student’s development. This is why I enjoy teaching and sharing my knowledge with others. I want to help students avoid common challenges, build confidence, and discover the joy of making music.
For me, teaching is about more than learning notes and technique. It is about helping each student develop their own musical voice while creating a positive and motivating learning environment where they can grow and enjoy their journey with the violin.

Hello! My name is Göksu, and I am a violinist with many years of performance and musical training experience. My lessons are tailored to each student’s individual goals, learning style, and level.
I focus on developing a strong technical foundation, including posture, bow control, intonation, rhythm, sight-reading, and musical expression. Lessons are structured, supportive, and engaging, helping students progress confidently while enjoying the learning process.
A typical lesson includes warm-up exercises, technical work, scales, etudes, and repertoire suited to the student’s level and interests. I provide personalized feedback and practice strategies to encourage steady improvement between lessons.
My lessons are suitable for beginners, intermediate, and advanced students of all ages. Whether you are learning the violin for the first time, preparing for auditions, improving your technique, or simply playing for enjoyment, I will help you reach your musical goals in a positive and motivating environment.
Lessons are available online and can be taught in English or Turkish.
