I’m originally from India, and Hindi is my mother tongue. When I was five years old, I moved abroad and gradually lost my ability to speak and understand Hindi. Years later, I decided to relearn the language from scratch, using the techniques and teaching methods my grandmother used with me.
Through her approach, I was able to fully regain my Hindi, and that experience shaped the way I think about language learning today. I understand what it feels like to struggle with a language you once knew, which is why I focus on making lessons patient, structured, encouraging, and practical.
I now use many of the same principles that helped me relearn Hindi when working with my own students, adapting them to each person's level, goals, and learning style.

My teaching approach combines structure, positive reinforcement, observation, and repetition to create a personalised learning experience.
Operant conditioning: I use positive reinforcement to encourage correct answers, consistent effort, and measurable progress.
Observational learning: I demonstrate pronunciation, vocabulary, and sentence construction before having the student imitate and practise them, followed by immediate feedback.
Spaced and repeated practice: Important concepts are revisited across lessons to strengthen retention and build long-term recall.
Structured progression: Lessons gradually increase in difficulty, allowing students to build confidence while developing their skills step by step.
