Over Inês
I'm a flutist from Portugal and I came to the Netherlands 4 years ago in search of my dream! I'm currently finishing my studies at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, with Kersten McCall, Vincent Cortvrint and Mariya Semotyuk-Schlaffke, flutists from Concertgebouworkest.
My introduction to music happened very early, having had my first music lesson when I was 4 years old. Later, at the age of 8, I decided that the flute was my great passion and since then I never let it go!
During my time studying in the Netherlands, I'm grateful to have performed in orchestra in venues such as Het Concertgebouw, Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ, De Doelen, Amare, TivoliVredenburg, Theater Orpheus and Concertgebouw De Vereeniging.
As a pedagogue, I had the opportunity to give some private lessons and to give a masterclass in Portugal. My biggest goal is to create a safe and non-judgmental space where we can learn and grow from each other. I intend to transmit the knowledge I have acquired over the years in a fun and light way, focusing on the student's goals, always with the aim of improving.
