I am a BMus classical composition student at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam and the founder of the Firouz Music Society. I always introduce myself as a composer, performer, and teacher – teaching music has always been my ideal job and passion, and I have spent years gathering methods and finding ways to make music as approachable as possible.
In addition to the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, I was admitted to many other prestigious universities, such as the Peabody Institute at Johns Hopkins, with a very significant scholarship. I am familiar with the audition processes and the skills required to meet the acceptance criteria, and can help my students prepare and reach their goals.
Whether it's preparing for intense auditions for elite conservatories, learning how to play a song on the piano, or deepening your appreciation of music, I am passionately here to guide you!

The pillar of my lessons is my students' needs, goals, abilities, and availability – everything else can be flexibly bent towards that. I use a wide variety of up-to-date books and methods that are used at the most prestigious music universities worldwide for teaching the topics, and use many different interactive online resources to help my students hone the skills they need.
From learning basic music theory, to preparing for conservatory auditions or simply understanding and deepening your appreciation of music, I believe I can help you!
