Hello! I’m Ruiya Wang, a native Mandarin speaker with a Master’s degree in Education and international teaching experience in China and the UK. I enjoy helping students learn Chinese in a friendly, engaging, and supportive way, whether you are a beginner or at an intermediate level.
I focus not only on language skills—speaking, listening, reading, and writing—but also on the cultural and historical context behind the language. My background in Chinese philosophy and ancient history allows me to explain why certain expressions, idioms, or ways of thinking exist, making learning more meaningful and memorable.
In my lessons, I combine structured practice with storytelling, conversation, and interactive exercises. I also enjoy bringing in literature and cultural insights to help students understand the language more deeply. In addition, I write and publish content on a Chinese-language public account, which strengthens my ability to communicate ideas clearly and creatively.
