Last year, I graduated as a mechanical engineer with a GPA of 4.0/4.0 and I'm currently pursuing a Master's degree in sustainable energy technology at TU Delft, one of the best universities in the Netherlands. As a middle-school student, I hated scientific subjects and believed math was ultimately useless in my daily life. But later in high-school, some of my teachers completely changed my perspective on these topics and made me fall in love with them by making them more tangible and relatable to my daily experiences. Looking back, I cannot be more grateful to them.
Today, I aspire to have the same impact on the students I teach, and I think this is the main mission of any educator: to make his students fall in love with the subject being taught. So, this is my main principle for teaching a topic and I always try to make my lessons as fun and as intuitive as possible. I have done that for years during my undergraduate studies and aspire to keep doing that later in my life.
In practice, I have helped many students excel in courses they had found difficult and often incomprehensible prior to working with me. In my opinion, the main reason behind this success is the interest in the subject that I had helped these students develop. I hope I can do the same with you!

I focus on developing the student's intuition about the subject more than anything else. So, understanding the topic on a conceptual level is a priority before learning the methods and digesting the information. Visuals and daily-life examples are always a crucial part of my teaching methods.
I always prefer short sessions (about 1-2 hour long) rather than long, tedious ones. I think the student's attention start degrading after this period and this is inefficient for proper assimilation. As for timing, I'm flexible and I seek to accommodate the preferences of the student as much as possible.
My experience is a private tutor of university-level courses, with most of my expertise in the domains of physics and engineering as I have helped multiple students excel in these subjects. But also good at teaching mathematics as my personal experience has taught me effective ways to convey abstract concepts to students in a simple manner. One thing's for sure: I'm known for making science topics fun and amusing to learn, and I think that's my main job as an educator.
