About My Japanese Lessons
My Teaching Techniques and Methods
In my Japanese lessons, I combine language learning with Japanese culture. I believe that the best way to learn a language is through active use, so I focus on speaking, listening, reading, and writing in a relaxed and interactive environment.
My lessons are adapted to each student's level, goals, and interests. I use various methods, such as practicing conversations, role-playing practical situations, expanding vocabulary, explaining grammar, and learning Japanese writing systems (hiragana, katakana, and kanji). I also incorporate cultural examples so that students can not only learn the language but also understand how Japanese people communicate and think.
A Typical Lesson Structure
A typical lesson begins with a short review of the previous lesson and a conversation in Japanese to practice speaking skills. After that, we introduce a new topic, such as new grammar, vocabulary, or a practical daily-life situation.
During the lesson, we actively practice through dialogues, exercises, and practical activities. I encourage students to make mistakes because they are an important part of the learning process. At the end of the lesson, we review the key points and I may provide exercises for students to continue practicing independently.
My Specific Skills
As a native Japanese speaker with international experience, I help students not only learn the Japanese language but also understand the cultural context behind it. I am fluent in Japanese and English and have experience with different cultures and learning environments.
My strengths are patience, personalized guidance, and adapting lessons to each student's needs. I create a comfortable and enjoyable learning environment where students can build confidence in speaking Japanese.
Additionally, I combine my knowledge of Japanese traditions and creative activities to make lessons engaging and unique.
