Over João
Hi there! My name is João and I can be your next guitar teacher!
I started teaching electric guitar at a local music school in my hometown Braga, Portugal when I was 18. At that moment I quickly learned how rewarding it is to help someone find their path in music. I love sharing the joy of playing, and I know that everyone learns at their own pace and faces their own technical challenges. That's still my motto today: help students enjoy playing the guitar.
I am currently finishing a bachelor's in Jazz Guitar at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague. Studying there gives me the chance to learn from great teachers from around the world, and they inspire me every day in my craft. As a teacher, I want to share a bit of that inspiration with you!
