Hi! I’m a native Chinese speaker from China, currently studying at the University of Amsterdam. I speak fluent English, so don’t worry if you’re a complete beginner, I can explain things clearly in English when needed.
I love languages, culture and meeting people from different backgrounds, and I’d love to help more people discover Chinese beyond textbooks. To me, learning a language is not just about memorizing vocabulary and grammar, it’s also about understanding how people actually speak, think, joke and communicate in everyday life.

My lessons focus on practical Mandarin that you can actually use in real life. As a native Chinese speaker, I can help you not only learn correct pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar, but also understand how Chinese is naturally spoken in everyday conversations.
Lessons are personalized to your level and goals. For beginners, we can start with Pinyin, pronunciation, basic sentence structures and useful daily expressions. If you already know some Chinese, we can focus more on conversation, correcting pronunciation, expanding vocabulary and making your Chinese sound more natural.
A typical lesson combines explanation, speaking practice and real-life examples. I also like to use topics you are genuinely interested in — such as Chinese culture, food, travel, social media or everyday life — so learning feels less like memorizing a textbook and more like actually learning to communicate.
I speak fluent English, so complete beginners are very welcome. My goal is to create a relaxed environment where you feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions and speaking Chinese from the very beginning.
