Eu sou professora de Direito licenciada com o Diploma da Universidade de Lisboa onde Estudei 5 anos. Tenho bacharelato em Línguas e Secretariado, do Instituto Novas Profissões de Lisboa e ainda Bacharelato da universidade aberta em Português e bacharelato em Francês pela Alliance Française em Paris. Trabalhei como advogada 20 anos em Portugal. Sou professora desde 22 de Abril de 1980 até à presente data.
Tenho trabalhado presencialmente em escolas públicas / privadas e online. Trabalhei em Portugal, Reino Unido e na Holanda.

Fiz estágio em Portugal durante 2 anos para ser professora. Este estágio foi-me reconhecido na Inglaterra, país onde vivi durante 8 anos, tendo obtido o Qualified Teacher Status. Sou professora qualificada para leccionar no ensino secundário e superior.

1976 – 1980: I graduated in Management Secretarial Skills from the Higher Institute of New - Professions in Lisbon – PORTUGAL.
During the 4 years course, I passed the following subjects:

I studied 4 years in the Institute and after that I did a training of 1 year in an enterprise of electric cables called CEL-CAT in the city of Amadora, near Lisbon in Portugal. I did my training with the secretary of the Personal Department and with the secretary of the Director of the Company. I did many tasks, such as:
- Call and serve customers, suppliers and general public.
- Writing and typing business letters,
- Archive documents in their folders,
- Fill out and help some employees in the office to fill out forms for the most varied purposes,
- Serving customers and visitors who arrived at the company,
- Prepare interviews for staff admission,
- Schedule and prepare meetings as well as make the respective minutes with a summary of all matter discussed at the meetings.
- Book plane tickets and hotel according Director’s schedule.
1981 – 1987: I graduated in Law from the University of Law in Lisbon – PORTUGAL.
I studied 5 years in the University and I was approved in the following subjects:

After the 5 year-course, I did a 2-year internship. My internship included a theoretical part of 6 months and a practical part of a 1,5 year. The theoretical part was carried out in the order of lawyers. It is an organization, in which, the future lawyers register after completing the internship. I had some useful sessions with the President of the Order and also with some qualified and experienced lawyers, who gave me important and useful advices. The practical part was done in the office of an experienced lawyer. This lawyer I called a patron, supervised me whenever I had to write lawsuits. Filing of actions; how to answer the questions of the opposite part; delivery of documents and witness list; how to write different types of contracts. The patron, was always present whenever I needed help with court proceedings.
1981 – 1983 – While I was studying Law in University, I did my training as a teacher for teaching in secondary and higher schools.
2000 – 2001: I did a Spanish Course in Portugal.
2001 – 2005: I got a graduation in the French Language from Alliance Française – Paris - - - France. After have been always in contact with French language for several years (Since year 5 to year 12 + 4 years in the Higher Institute of New Professions in Lisbon), I decided to continue the study of the language. I studied 2 years in Alliance Française in the city of Coimbra in Portugal and I finished my graduation in Alliance Française in Paris – France, where I studied more 2 Years.
2003 – 2007: I graduated in Literary and Literacy Portuguese Studies from Open University in Portugal. From 2003 to 2005 I studied the course it in campus attending regularly classes and the last 2 years I studied online because on that period of time I was in France, finishing French. I did both graduations (French and Portuguese, almost at the same time).
2007- 2008: I got the Qualified Teacher Status from Birmingham – UNITED KINGDOM. In 2007, I decided to come to UK. I gave my qualifications, including my internship as a teacher done in Portugal for a period of time of 2 years to an entity that supervises the teaching for colleges and high schools. This Department analyses everything and they gave an equivalency to my internship, that was called Qualified Teacher Status.
2008 – 2009: I did a Translation Course – Community levels I, II and III at Mary Ward Centre Russel Square – London – UNITED KINGDOM.
2009-2010: I did the Interpreter Course – Community levels I and II at Mary Ward Centre – Russel Square – London – UNITED KINGDOM.
2010 - 2011 – I did a post- graduation course in translation from City University in London – UNITED KINGDOM.
2011 – 2013 – I awarded functional skills qualification in English, level II from Cambridge and RSA Examinations (OCR): Listen and Speaking, Reading and Writing Communication
2013 – 2014 – I did the Counselling Course in the Institute of Counselling – Glasgow – Scotland – UNITED KINGDOM. I did this course because it was helpful to solve issues that could arise between students or between students and teachers/staff in a school. Indeed, it was helpful to solve issues that could arise in the lawyer’s office I worked in United Kingdom.
2014 – 2015 – I finished level II of IT Skills (Word, Excel, Database, Publisher and Power point) from Cambridge and RSA Examinations – UNITED KINGDOM. I studied my IT SKILLS during 1 year in the classroom in Manchester College during all mornings, Monday to Friday and at the end the College gave me the certificate that recognizes my knowledge from Cambridge and RSA Examinations. In the same period of time (2014 – 2015), but in the afternoon, Arts Pathway levels I and II (drawing, painting, Design Style and Design Project) from Manchester College – United Kingdom. I did the course during 1 year in all afternoons, since Monday to Friday. I did it not focuses on my work but for my wellbeing. (although, I confess it helped me inside the classroom many times in order to solve problems in counselling groups, specially, when I decided to work with children in France and children/teenagers in Dublin - Ireland South).
I worked in Portugal as a Qualified Teacher for 25 years and as a lawyer for 20 years. I worked also as an office assistant in a construction company for 5 years.
As a teacher, in Portugal I taught different subjects: Portuguese (all levels in Secondary and high schools); French (all levels in secondary schools); Economics (years 10 and 11- DP); Political Economics (years 10, 11 and 12 - DP),International Politic (year 11 and 12 - DP); Law (years 10 and 11- DP); International Law (Years 11 and 12 - DP) and Technological Education and IT (Years 7 to 9 MYP). I worked as a counsellor in the school for 1 year supporting students.
In 2004-2006, I supervised the training of a teacher who was doing it for being a professional teacher in secondary schools.
I worked also as a telephone recruitment company interviewing people to work in Portugal and abroad. I used to speak Portuguese, French and English.
I supervised the marketing business department of my local radio 101.7 FM in Arazede – Montemor-o-Velho since 1988 to 2007.
In France, I worked as an office assistant in kinder garden and as an international lawyer. I solved a case of International Law, which involved a Portuguese person, who was condemned for a crime. According to the situation, contacts with the foreign affairs in Portugal and France were done. I worked as a counsellor in a secondary school for 2 years.
I worked as a lawyer too and I had my experience in the Tribunal of Human Rights in Strasbourg.
In United Kingdom, I worked as a Portuguese Teacher for Cactus Language Ltd for 8 years and I taught Portuguese. I worked also as a translator/interpreter for 5 years. I translated and interpreted Portuguese – English and vice versa; Portuguese – French and vice versa and French – English and vice versa. I used to go to job centre, banks and hospitals. I worked also as administrative assistant in a plumbing company for 2 years.
I supported some Portuguese people in some lawyers’ offices about Portuguese law issues, such as family law, work law and properties registered law.
In Dublin, I worked as a teacher between 2014 and 2016. I taught Portuguese and French. I worked as a counsellor in the school supporting students and staff for 2 years.
I supported teenagers between 14 to 19 years old in Counselling groups too.
I supported some Portuguese citizens in private lawyers’ offices and I gave them some general advice relating to how to solve some Portuguese issues. Basically, the areas were about Human Rights, Criminal Law, Work Law and Properties’ register (House and land).
In Netherland, I taught Portuguese in International School of Amsterdam and I taught Portuguese and French at Guus Kieft School. Both of these schools are situated in Amstelveen. I supported also some students in European Law at Leiden University.
Presently, I have been teaching French, International Public Law and Business International Law in International Business School The Hague, too. In these last 2 subjects concerning to law, I teach in English that is the common language of the school International Business School The Hague in Riswijk. It happened the same in International School of Amsterdam, where I taught Portuguese because the main language of the school it was English.

In my spare time I like to drive (I have a driving license for more than 30 years), go to the park with my family, I like to read, hear music and to have a social conversation with friends about politics in Portugal and other countries. I like Radio too and I still have a local radio in Portugal (101.7 FM). Radio is a fantastic way to develop and promote business.
