I'm Aravind. I moved to the Netherlands a few years ago for my master's at WUR and ended up staying. Studying and working in English every day for the past six years means I'm comfortable across the spectrum — from chatty everyday stuff to dense academic writing. I'm patient, I don't judge mistakes (they're the whole point), and I genuinely enjoy the moment when something finally clicks for someone. Outside the laptop I'm usually around plants in some form.

Hey, I'm Aravind.
I just finished my MSc in Plant Biotechnology at WUR. Both my bachelor's and master's were in English — six years of it, every day — and I've got an IELTS C1 to back it up. So this is not me teaching a language I learned on the side. It's the language I actually live in.
I can help with most things people usually want help with:
Speaking practice if you want to stop freezing up in between conversations
Writing — essays, thesis, motivation letters, that kind of thing IELTS / CEFR prep, especially the writing and speaking bits people hate
Grammar and pronunciation tidying, if you sound textbook-y and want to sound normal Work emails and meeting English.
First lesson is mostly me asking what you actually need English for. Then we build from there. If you bring real stuff you're working on — a paper, a CV, an email you're stuck on — we just use that. I don't really do worksheets.
Comfortable with all levels. Beginners who panic, advanced people who want to sound less stiff, anything in between.
Also — if you need something written rather than taught (articles, blog posts, editing, cleaning up a piece of writing in proper English), I do freelance writing on the side. Just message me about it.
