Hi! I’m Kseniia, and I have a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and a Master’s degree in Medical Neurobiology from Radboud University in the Netherlands.
Neuroscience has been the main focus of my academic training and research. My background includes cellular and molecular neuroscience, cognition, learning and memory, neurophysiology, neurodegeneration and neurological disease.
I also have hands-on biomedical research experience, including laboratory research related to the brain, cerebrovascular biology and neurodegenerative disease. Through my academic work, I have gained extensive experience reading and critically evaluating scientific literature, interpreting experimental data, developing research questions and presenting scientific findings.
Because I have studied these subjects at university level myself, I understand that neuroscience often becomes difficult not because of one individual concept, but because students are expected to connect information across molecular, cellular, systems and behavioural levels.
I enjoy making those connections clear and helping students turn complicated neuroscience material into something structured and understandable.

Neuroscience can become complicated very quickly, especially when molecular mechanisms, anatomy, physiology and behaviour all need to be connected. My lessons focus on breaking these complex topics down into clear, logical steps and helping you understand how the different concepts fit together.
Lessons are personalized to your course, level and goals. I can help with topics including cellular and molecular neuroscience, neuroanatomy, synaptic transmission and plasticity, learning and memory, neurophysiology, the blood-brain barrier, neurodegeneration, Alzheimer’s disease and other neurological disorders.
For university students, we can work directly with your lecture material, learning objectives, scientific papers or topics you are struggling with. I can also help you understand research methods, experimental design, figures and results from scientific papers, and how to critically interpret neuroscience research.
If you are preparing for an exam, we can identify the areas you find most difficult, review the underlying concepts and practise applying your knowledge rather than simply memorizing information.
My aim is for you to leave each lesson understanding not only what happens in the nervous system, but why and how it happens.
