The key to a nuanced understanding of any social science is acknowledging that in essence, it is the study of our collective human experiences. The field is deeply intertwined with shared experiences, behaviors, social structures, political systems and economic activity. Bridging connections between social science theoretical approaches, academic concepts and lived experiences allows for meaningful understanding of the complexities of social sciences.
I facilitate this understanding by theory with real-life empirical applications that enable students to have a strong grasp of conceptual academic terms, in addition to being able to contextualize and situate them in their daily lives. By making academic texts more applicable, their relevance resonates more.
I base pedagogy and didactics on my experience teaching many multi-disciplinary social science courses with the fields of Sociology, Anthropology, Political Science and International Relations. This is in combination with my experience teaching university-level Academic Skills courses, that are focused on academic writing for essays, referencing, conceptualization, analysis and critical thinking.

I prioritize tailored didactic approaches that are customized for each student's needs. After an initial consultation, a plan is agreed upon that is designed based on learning objectives, curriculum requirements and student's abilities. My lessons are tailored for high school and (pre-) university students interested in social and behavioral sciences.
