Over Giulia

Ciao! I’m Giulia, I’m 23 years old and I’m originally from Italy, but I’ve been living in the Netherlands for almost four years now!

I’m currently studying Communication and Information Studies at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, where my courses are taught in English, so I’m comfortable communicating and explaining things in English.

my Dutch is still a work in progress! I know quite a few words, but I’m not yet fluent enough to teach entirely in Dutch. however, I can still use some Dutch vocabulary to help when needed.

I’ve also completed several internships in kindergartens and primary schools, where I worked as a teaching assistant and helped teachers with different activities.

I enjoy learning languages myself, so I know how challenging (but also rewarding!) it can be to learn a new one.

Over deze les

I believe that everyone learns differently, so I always try to adapt my lessons to each student’s needs and goals. For example, if you want to focus more on speaking and conversation, we can definitely do that!

however, I usually prefer to include all four language skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing.

I also have some experience teaching Italian to children during an internship.

most importantly, I want my students to feel comfortable, enjoy learning and improve at their own pace :)
