I’ve attended some of the most prestigious film schools worldwide, and my master’s graduate film has been screened at international film festivals. I focus on documentary filmmaking, but I am equally well-versed in fiction.
With a background in acting as well, I can teach film from multiple perspectives. My approach is closer to art-house cinema than blockbusters. In my classes, I will explore the form of the moving image, explain how it differs from other mediums, and help you understand and appreciate the craft. Through a mix of historical context and practical exercises, my lessons offer a unique and engaging experience.
Not only will you learn about the visual aspects of filmmaking, but also about sound. You will gain an understanding of how sound functions in film and how it shapes the viewing experience.
