Hello, I’m Cansu!
Piano has been an inseparable part of my life for as long as I can remember. I began my piano lessons at the age of five with my father, who is both a composer and a professor at the conservatory. At 10, I was accepted into the conservatory's piano department and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Piano after approximately 12 years. During this time, I gained extensive experience as a soloist, chamber musician and participated in various projects.
Inspired by pedagogy courses during my university years, I discovered my passion for teaching piano, and my journey as an instructor began at a music school. To further develop my teaching skills, I pursued a master’s degree in music education, worked on projects inspired by Carl Orff, and published two articles.
Later, I started my Master’s in Piano Performance at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague, where I am currently pursuing my studies.
