Wil je al een tijd piano leren spelen of wil je je kind piano leren spelen? Mijn naam is Faye, en ik speel piano vanaf mijn 6de. Ik heb een achtergrond in verschillende muziek stylen waaronder Klassiek, Jazz en world, Improvisation en Compositie. Sinds 4 jaar deel ik graag mijn passie voor muziek met andere.
Ik bied een een fijne basis aan leerlingen aan de gebieden van muziek theorie, ritme, gehoor training en gehoor spelen, stylen orientatie, noten lezen, akkoorden spelen, piano technique en meer.
Ook: Muziek theorie, op gehoor spelen, improvisation, begeleiden-zang.
Locatie: bij leerlingen, lerares en online. Den Haag en Leiden.
Talen: Engels en Nederlands.

Have you wanted to learn to play the piano for some time or do you want to teach your child to play the piano? My name is Faye, I've been playing the piano since the age of 6 years and have always been very passionate about music.
I offer lessons for children and adults from beginners to intermediate level. Styles: Pop, world, improv, and classical music. Lessons are a good musical basis for any style you wish to pursue.
My method tries to tailor to the needs of the student so that lessons are engaging structured and follow the natural curiosity and capabilities of the students. It also focuses a lot on developing the students overall musical abilities such as internalizing sound and rhythm.
Music making is something to be enjoyed and experienced besides the practice that goes into perfecting the art of piano playing. The content of the lessons always aims to reflect this mindset so that a student can become independently fluent and capable not just to imitate and practice but to really experience, understand, feel and enjoy the music throughout their learning experience.

As a passionate musician, I help you develop your innate talent for music making and give you the space to develop your own musicality with heart and passion. Each lesson brings something new and will foster development of your creativity while also enjoying the learning the process.
Lessons are interactive, spontaneous, structured and follow your natural curiosity and innate capabilities. The process of music making isn't necessarily a strict endeavor but a lived one; as experienced through the perspective and perception of the pupil.
My teaching style aims to tailor to the individuals' learning approach.
