Over Maria
I am from Portugal and I recently got my master diploma in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Twente. I did my studies in different countries, but my main language was always Portuguese. Firstly, I did my primary school at the European School in Brussels, half in Portuguese and half in French. Then, I came to Portugal and I did until my bachelor all my education in Portuguese. Finally, I went to the Netherlands for 2 years to do my master. Therefore, besides Portuguese I have an excellent level of English, a very good level of French and a basic level of Dutch and Spanish.

My approach while giving a session to help in the study is to direct the learning progress to the need of the student. A session starts with a summary of the content that was given during the last classes, the homework that needs to be done and together we define the goals for that session. The contents are worked together theoretically and/or practically according to the student needs. To learn a language the repetition is very important, so according to the needs of the student multiple exercises can be designed or prepared. At the end a final summary is done, and new tasks are defined to do until the next session.
