My name is Nil. I started learning the cello when I was 5 years old in Barcelona. When I was 18 I moved to The Netherlands where I obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Pedagogy and Performing from Groningen University and a master’s degree in performing from the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague. I have played in different orchestra’s both professional (Noord Nederlands Orkest and Residentie Orkest) and semi-professional orchestras. I’m member of three ensembles, a piano duo, Trio Sphera and a Cello Quartet all based in The Hague. During my Master Research, I work on NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) and music; which can be very helpful in educational settings.
I teach in Dutch, English, Spanish or Catalan.
Besides performing and teaching, I'm also helping people to be healthier by using a combination of strength and flexibility exercises, mostly musicians. I have +10 years of experience with different activities, like martial arts.

Cello lessons for all ages and levels!
I teach individual lessons both live and online to children and adults, beginners and advanced. In the beginning I also help students learning to read and understand the score. I tailor each lesson to the individual needs of the student and any ranges of styles that s/he might want to explore, making cello technique accurate but keeping the natural movements of the body.
I have ca. 5 years of experience teaching privately and in music schools to students of all ages.
A single try out lesson of 40 minutes is free.
Live: 35€ per hour – €30 per 45 minutes – 30 minutes is 18€.
Online (ZOOM): I can’t offer the same high quality teaching since the sound quality and the technology doesn’t allow it. I ask therefore 25€ per 45 minutes. I don’t teach 1 hour online, I also prefer live teaching over ZOOM.
