Over Jake
At the young age of 13, I started playing drums and fell in love with it. This moment propelled me to pursue drums and music in general fully as a career. Shortly after, I enrolled into the famous "Taller de Musics" in Barcelona where I studied drums, electric bass, music theory and harmony. After learning the basics I transferred to the Conservatoire del Liceu where I studied my Bachelors Degree in Jazz and Modern Music. Whilst I studied, I would work heavily on both live and studio settings, revolving around the musical circles of jazz, swing, blues and groove genres both locally and internationally.
After the pandemic, I decided to move to The Netherlands to pursue a Master Degree at Groningen's NYC Jazz Program where I specialised in conceptual composition and storytelling in music.
Now, I have relocated to the exciting city of Rotterdam where I aim to find new opportunities, projects and music!

Interested in learning drums, fortify your inner rhythm and connect it to a broader music theory? look no further!
During my bachelor (Conservatory del Liceu/Barcelona) and masters (Prins Claus Conservatoire/Groningen) studies, I've taught many peers of varying ages and skill levels during my career, working with their strengths and weaknesses to help them achieve their desired goals!
My perspective is to create a solid foundation and structure for each student, dividing the class into different short and focused sections, giving them the tools to progress further so anyone can create their own routine for the future.
