My teaching method is holistic. I have been trained in music theory, piano, arranging, improvisation, Alexander technique, art philosophy, music in East Asia, counterpoint, advanced rhythm and pulse, music history, Sibelius software, contemporary music, chamber music, solfege and pedagogy. I would be glad to share my knowledge, with particular focus on saxophonists who are intrested to audition for a conservatory in the Netherlands.
I was born in Athens, Greece in 1992. At age 5 I was introduced to music through the Orff approach, while at 7 I picked up saxophone. I received my saxophone diploma in 2016 from Orfeio Conservatory. The following year I pursued further studies at HKU Utrechts Conservatorium with Johan van der Linden, and in 2020 I studied for one semester with Gerald Preinfalk at KunstUni Graz. I have participated in masterclasses of Alain Crepin, Ryo Noda, Apollo Saxophone Quartet and Carl-Emmanuel Fisbach, among others, while in 2018 I participated at the Frederick Hemke Saxophone Institute in Maine, U.S. I have performed and recorded with many ensembles, such as Anemone Saxophone Quartet (the Netherlands, Austria), Katahdin Duo (the Netherlands) and the European Union Youth Wind Orchestra (Germany, France, Luxembourg). I have completed my educational internship at DUMS and actively teach saxophone in Greece and the Netherlands for the last 4 years.

Loyalty, patience and new creative ideas are words that describe the way of Pantelis's music teaching and performance. My collaboration as a composer with Pantelis reaches high level of communication and excellent performance every time! Many times we discuss about saxophone performance and techniques -there is no other saxophonist that describes and answers more sufficient and clear than Pantelis. Great teacher, great saxophonist!
