Over Archana
My name is Archana and I am an architect with masters in Urban Planning. I have worked as an architect, interior designer and also done master planning of airports. I have worked extensively on large construction projects and also small interior designs.
What sets me apart is this hands-on experience. I have spent years working alongside interior designers, builders, project developers, property managers, and various other consultants. This background gives me insight into the challenges you face as a designer and the resources you require to thrive.
I come from a family of teachers and I love teaching. I was incharge of mentoring interns in my earlier job. I decided to teach after my interns requested me to consider teaching software to other people as well. So, I decided to help people who want to upgrade their software skills. I know how command over a design tool can improve your workflow and help you bring your ideas to the ground.
I'll try to make the lessons fun for you and help you enjoy the learning process.

Whether you're an absolute beginner or looking to refine your existing skills, my lessons are fully customized to your level and learning goals. You’ll receive practical tips, clear explanations, and exercises that you can apply immediately.
In the first free lesson, we will discuss your goals and requirements. I will then send you a program structure which will consist of multiple modules and topics covered in each module.
The software will be taught in a clear, structured manner—starting from the essential basic tools and short commands, gradually moving towards more advanced and complex functions. My teaching approach is designed not only to guide you step by step but also to empower you to explore and navigate the software confidently on your own. You’ll learn in a way that’s practical, memorable, and easy to apply.
Every class includes special tips, shortcuts, and tricks to help you work smarter and faster. To reinforce what you’ve learned, I’ll provide small tasks and exercises after each session, ensuring you get plenty of hands-on practice.
Each lesson typically lasts between 30 minutes to an hour, tailored to fit your schedule and preferences. Most students are able to confidently master the software within 3 to 4 months with regular weekly sessions, though the pace can be adjusted to suit your needs.
Over the past five years, I’ve mentored 25 interns, many of whom have gone on to build successful careers in architecture and design. Whether you’re a student, young professional, or simply eager to enhance your skills, these lessons are perfect for anyone looking to gain a strong command of AutoCAD, Revit, or SketchUp.

Ik heb Archana op basis van haar cv maar ook deels op gevoel gekozen om mijzelf hobby-matig wegwijs te maken in SketchUp. Een goede keuze! Met de door haar samengestelde modules gaan we systematisch door alle onderdelen heen. Deze combinatie van uitleg en tussendoor de diverse tools kort oefenen gaat ook perfect online, met scherm delen. Tussen de lessen door oefen ik verder met een module aan mijn droomhuis en als een onderdeel even wat meer tijd vraagt van mij dan doen we sommige onderdelen opnieuw. Archana is super vriendelijk, zeer vakkundig en inspireert mij om gemotiveerd te blijven. Dus niet alleen voor professionals maar ook voor een beginner zoals ik een echte aanrader.
I chose Archana based on her resume but also partly on feeling to familiarize myself with SketchUp as a hobby. A good choice! With the modules she put together, we systematically go through all the components. This combination of explanation and briefly practicing the various tools in between also works perfectly online, with screen sharing. In between lessons I continue to practice with a module on my dream house and if a component takes a little more time from me, we do some components again. Archana is super friendly, very skilled and inspires me to stay motivated.
