Over Masoud
I am a PhD holder in Electrical Engineering with teaching and research experience in this field. I am specialized in Power System Stability Studies and my work is focused on stability and control of bulk power systems and microgrids, and designing controllers for power systems components using optimization algorithms.
My teaching covers the following areas:
-Power System Dynamics
-Power System Analysis and Control
-Electric Machines
-Electric Circuits
I can also teach you how to do transient stability studies in the following software:
-Matlab/Simulink
-Digsilent Power Factory

I teach online (only in English) using MS Teams/Zoom globally. I can teach you how to model different components of power systems such as Synchronous Generators and their controllers, Power-electronics Interfaced Resources ( wind turbines, solar photovoltaic and Batteries), Transformers, Transmission lines and ... in software like Matlab/Simulink and Digsilent Power Factory. After modeling all the required components of the power system, you will be able to perform transient stability studies and observe changes in power system voltage, frequency and other variables. Additionally, I can teach you how to optimally tune the parameters of the controllers.

Dr. Masoud is a very patient teacheer. He had a deep knowledge of power system modelling and could help me underestand how to model the system with all the required comnponents in powerfactory and how to check if the response of the model is reasonable.
I had a project on power system stability in a typical IEEE test system. Masoud taught me how to simulate a transmission system in Matlab. He taught me all the required details and teaching method was very efficient. Now, I feel confident enough to do power simulations using Matlab.
