Over Zheng
My name is Q, short for Qisheng. I came to the Netherlands 3.5 years ago to study jazz and pop at the conservatory in Arnhem. With 18 years of musical experience and a classical conservatory diploma, my passion for music and art drives me to inspire others. I love to paint, write poetry, and read books. At school, I play flute, sing, play piano, and conga. My goal is to motivate people to explore art, introduce them to different cultures, and develop creativity together. I aim to share my passion for music and bring more people into this beautiful art world.

I love teaching jazz flute to students of all levels, focusing on essential techniques such as sound production and music theory, while also helping you develop your musicality. This approach allows us to tap into your creativity and ideas to find your unique voice and style on the flute.
As a multi-instrumentalist, I bring a diverse musical perspective to our lessons, and we can even play music together to enhance your learning experience.
My studies at various conservatories have provided me with a robust methodology, enabling me to tailor my teaching to each student's needs. Depending on your level and preference, we can schedule lessons lasting between 30 and 60 minutes.
For new students, I offer an introductory lesson to ensure a good fit and to set the stage for our musical journey together.

Qisheng is a really nice teacher, she always motivates her students and her lessons are very fun and interesting! I highly recommend her to everyone that wants to learn Chinese .
Ik heb al veel muziek lessen gehad van Qisheng en heb daarbij veel geleerd over dwarsfluit en ook over muziek in het algemeen. Ze heeft een super diep begrip van muziek en alleen al door met haar in gesprek te zijn over muziek is ontzettend leerzaam en inspirerend.
