Over Eduard
I'm a jazz pianist from Tallinn, currently doing my master's in jazz piano at the Utrecht Conservatorium. I started playing at four, graduated from Georg Ots Music School and took my bachelor's in jazz piano at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre, studying along the way with Holger Marjamaa, Joel Remmel, Kristjan Randalu and Rembrandt Frerichs. In 2023 I was one of the delegates representing Estonia at Jazzahead, and since 2025 I've performed with the Jazz Wave band aboard Royal Caribbean's Symphony of the Seas. I've been teaching privately for over five years and I genuinely enjoy it - watching someone finally hear what's happening inside a tune is the best part of my week.

Lessons are built around what you actually want to play. We work on your own repertoire alongside jazz standards, and the focus is on song analysis, harmony and ear training - understanding why a tune does what it does, so that you can eventually learn new music on your own, by ear as well as from the page. I teach all ages and all levels, from complete beginners to players who want to get into jazz and improvisation. Everything runs over video call with screen-shared sheet music, and I handle the tech side so the lesson actually feels like a lesson. I teach in English, Estonian or Russian. The first lesson is free, so we can find out whether we're a good fit before you commit to anything.
