Hello! My name is Leon, and I am an academic Arabist passionately dedicated to unlocking the beauty and logic of the Arabic language for my students. I am currently completing my Bachelor’s degree in Arabic Studies at the University of Latvia and preparing to pursue my Master’s degree at Leiden University.

My academic journey includes deep cultural and linguistic immersion:

||| Jordan: I spent a full academic year studying at Middle East University (MEU) in Amman.

||| Egypt: I earned an Advanced 1 certificate from a renowned language center in Cairo.

||| The Coursebook: I have authored a published Arabic language coursebook.

I have over 4 years of experience teaching Arabic, and I absolutely love helping students build confidence from their very first lesson. My native language is Russian, and I conduct all my lessons in clear, accessible English.

I specialize in teaching Classical Arabic for absolute beginners and providing academic support for university students. My lessons focus on the authentic grammar, pure logic, and rich vocabulary of the language. My goal is to help you truly understand how Arabic works, rather than just forcing you to memorize phrases.
