As a language enthusiast myself, I understand many of the struggles that someone goes through while trying to learn a new language. You have a shiny 200 days streak in Duolingo but cannot manage to keep up with a real basic conversation, and for some reason, all you can talk about is apples, coffee and shoes. After some years trying to refine my own learning process, I found out that the best way for me to keep improving after getting the basics was to start speaking with real people, as frequently as possible.
I am a dedicated native Spanish tutor, and my priority is to create a supportive environment for every student. With a focus on practical application, I am committed to helping you get confident with your Spanish in your road to fluency. My approach is based on understanding your individual needs and providing specific guidance and advice, ensuring every session is productive and contributes to your goals.
My passion for languages led me to help those who are learning Spanish by taking on the role of a conversation buddy, while keeping in mind corrections and improvements that encourage growth in the learning process. I like to talk about a lot of things and I am always willing to learn new things, so we will have topics to improve your Spanish at all times, prioritizing those that best fit your particular interests.

Are you learning Spanish and want to boost your conversation skills? Do you feel that Duolingo exercises are starting to feel a bit repetitive? You have to break that stagnation point, and the best way to do this is to just start speaking and making the language your own. For this, there is no better than having someone who understands your current proficiency and keeps challenging you by steadily increasing your vocabulary and refining your abilities.
Remember, the best way to learn a language is not rationally understanding how it works, but instead listening and speaking as much as you can (just as babies always do!).
As a relaxed and friendly tutor, I focus on getting you comfortable speaking Spanish using a wide range of topics for casual conversation. From engaging in small talk to talking about travel or discussing politics, we can dive into whatever fits best with your interests, and if you have no specific objective in mind we can figure something out! In one way or another, my goal is to boost your conversational skills, enrich your vocabulary, and make sure you can follow a dialogue making the Spanish language your own without wasting energy translating every sentence.
My sessions are oriented mainly for intermediate students who already know some of the basics and need or want to start using what they have learned. Nonetheless, don't hesitate to contact me if you are just starting with Spanish or if you are well beyond the basics. Conversation will always be part of learning a new language, and it helps you maintain a good level and enrich your vocabulary once you already speak it.
While conversation is my main focus, I can also help you improve your writing and reading abilities. For every class, I prepare new vocabulary tailored to your interests and we specifically target previous mistakes to help you fine-tune your Spanish for greater confidence.
