Please accept my application for the position English teacher. Firstly I would like to mention that I am a native English speaker with a passion for teaching. With my proactive personality and credible experience in applying appropriate teaching and giving workshops, I am prepared to become an immediate team player within your organization. On November 2018, I graduated from the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen where I obtained my bachelors degree in International Relations and Organizations. I have also been awarded my academic English language certificate in B2/C1.
Aside from educational background, I have nearly 2 years experience in teaching and giving workshops. During my time in Scotland, I gave English literature workshops at the Hazlehead Academy in Aberdeen. In these workshops, English literature from the 18th and 19th century were discussed. This experience has taught me how to manage relatively large crowds and keep them entertained. On numerous occasions I have been complimented for my fun and easy going personality. In 2015 I worked as an intern English teacher at the New Cairo International School where I taught English for GCSE & A level students. Through my teaching experiences and TEFL studies, I developed profound pedagogic and classroom management skills, along with a passion for teaching English.
Lastly, my past colleagues would describe me as enthusiastic, open minded and a team- player. I love to energize people around me and incite positive energy. University life and past work experiences have taught me how to work under pressure and I thoroughly believe that I will add value within your organization by teaching English in a interactive way and by ensuring that Students are given the best experience. I believe that my experiences and skills would translate well into this position.
