Over Anaiya
Hi! I'm Anaiya, a university student currently studying in Groningen, the Netherlands.
I've had the opportunity to live and study in South Africa, the United States, and the Netherlands, which has given me a real appreciation for language, communication, and connecting with people from different backgrounds.
I enjoy helping others learn, and I understand that improving your English can sometimes feel intimidating, especially when you're preparing for an important exam or trying to become more confident speaking.
Having experienced different educational systems and international environments, I know how valuable strong English communication skills can be, both academically and in everyday life.
I'm patient, friendly, and easy to talk to, and I want my students to feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. My aim is to make lessons both productive and enjoyable while helping each student build confidence in their abilities.

My English lessons are tailored to your individual needs, whether you're preparing for IELTS, improving your spoken English, expanding your vocabulary, or simply looking to communicate more confidently.
Having achieved an overall IELTS band score of 8.5, over 85% in high school English, and an A in my university English course, I have a strong academic foundation in the language. I've also studied in South Africa, the United States, and the Netherlands, giving me experience communicating in English across different academic and cultural environments.
I believe learning English should be engaging, practical, and comfortable. Rather than focusing entirely on textbooks and memorisation, my lessons incorporate real conversations, interactive exercises, reading and writing activities, and personalised feedback.
Lessons are structured around your goals. We can focus on IELTS preparation, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing practice, or work on everyday English, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, and conversational fluency.
I welcome students of all levels, from beginners building their foundations to advanced learners aiming to refine their skills. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where you feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and improving at your own pace.
