  Teaching grammar to one of my French students, I gave him an exercise to rewrite in English, he translated the sentence from English to French to understand what he was asked to do, then he literally translated his answer back to English and by the time he answered the question, it was all lost in translation, the whole sentence did not make much sense in English, it was so funny we both had a good laugh over it.

  My name is Kemi, formally I was a Web Designer with a degree in Information Technology and Web Design. I spent nearly a decade working in Department of Works and Pensions in the UK, I later moved to the private sector and then started my own business. My experience includes designing, managing and maintaining websites for small businesses. We moved to the Netherlands 10 yrs ago and I decided to retrain as an English language teacher, when I am not teaching, my hobbies are running walking, cooking and baking.
