Fine arts student teaching Arabic language with a poetry background and language concept.

Methodologie

I would start with explaining the basic rules about the language, the alphabet and the form of calligraphy related to, the pronunciation and the listening skills.
The materials we are going to study together are going to be mostly poems, songs and other literature forms that carry the Arabic culture with it.

Ervaring

Currently I'm studying Fine Arts. In my art i focus on the culture background and the concepts behind the cultures. I include poems that I write in Arabic and translate them to english.
I love Arabic poetry and I have a wide knowledge of forming the poem and the methods of that so with this knowledge I will not only be teaching the language itself but also the beauty of it.

Raafat's achtergrond

I have started teaching students physics and maths when I was 18, I have taught these subjects for almost three years for secondary and high school students.
during that I have taught Arabic for children.
Now, In the Netherlands I have given some lessons over Arabic language basics and calligraphy concept for some students and friends who were interested in that.
In 2007 I have won the seventh place of a national short story competition.
In 2009 I have won the first prize of a national short story competition.
