Hello! My name is Urooj. I was born in Pakistan and have been living in the Netherlands since 2013. English has been an important part of my education and daily life, and I enjoy helping others become confident English speakers.
As a qualified nurse, I have developed strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills by working with people from many different backgrounds. After moving to the Netherlands, I also learned Dutch myself, so I understand both the challenges and the rewards of learning a new language.
I believe every student learns differently, which is why I tailor each lesson to the student's goals, level, and learning style. My lessons are friendly, interactive, and focused on building confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing English.

I believe that every student can learn English with the right guidance, encouragement, and practice. My goal is to create a friendly, supportive, and relaxed learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and building confidence. I see mistakes as an essential part of the learning process.
My teaching approach is student-centered and tailored to each learner's individual goals, learning style, and English level. I use a variety of teaching methods, including conversation practice, pronunciation exercises, grammar explanations, vocabulary building, reading, and listening activities. I adapt every lesson to help students learn at their own pace while keeping the classes engaging and interactive.
A typical lesson begins with a brief review of previous material, followed by the introduction of a new topic or skill. We then reinforce learning through discussions, exercises, and real-life examples. At the end of each lesson, I summarize the key points and, if appropriate, provide additional practice to help students continue improving outside of class.
My strengths as a teacher include patience, clear communication, and the ability to explain concepts in a simple and easy-to-understand way. Having learned Dutch after moving to the Netherlands, I understand the challenges of learning a new language. This experience helps me relate to my students and support them with empathy and practical advice.
My lessons are suitable for:
