Hi, I’m Asje and I’m 19 years of age. I’m a Dutch/Canadian high school graduate currently enjoying my gap year before starting a university course in Ireland. I enjoy teaching students about the beautiful language that is English and of course how to properly speak it through means of grammar and pronunciation.

Learning proper English through pop culture as well as classic literature is in my opinion the best way to reach a (near) native speaker level. In lessons ranging from an hour to two hours we would focus on accents, reading, writing, listening and grammar while also picking up a bit of classical literature. These lessons would consist of reading literature with a focus on comprehension and going over grammar rules aIl the while of course speaking as much English as possible. I myself have the highest possible grade in the highest possible English test offered by Cambridge concerning profiency, a goal any of my students could also strive to with my help. I’ve given multiple lessons in ranging subjects while I was attending high school myself like Economics, Maths and naturally English to fellow students. Lastly my lessons are primarily intended for students age 12-17 who either struggle with high school English, want to improve their accent or want to prepare for the Cambridge profiency test.
Ps I, of course, also speak Dutch.
