Encourage use of sticky notes for comments or questions.
Activity 3: Class Discussion (20 minutes): Sharing Insights: Gather for discussion. Ask student to share one interesting aspect of their story's plot or characterization.
Comparisons and Contrasts: Discuss commonalities and differences between the stories. Explore how various authors approach plot and characterization differently.
Conclusion (15 minutes): Recap the key points about plot and characterization.
Assign homework: Ask students to find a short story or excerpt online, analyze its plot and characterization, and be prepared to share their findings in the next class.
Assessment: Evaluate participation during discussions. Review character profiles created by student. Assess individual understanding through homework submissions.
