**About Me**
Hi! I’m Mariz Encinares, and I hold a degree in Bachelor of Elementary Education, along with a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certificate. I’ve spent 6 months teaching English online to learners from China and Japan, ranging from 2 years old to 40 years old. My experience has given me the flexibility to teach students at all levels, from beginners to more advanced speakers, and I’m passionate about helping my students reach their language goals in a way that’s engaging and effective.
For young children, I use fun, interactive activities to teach basic English concepts like colors, actions, emotions, people, and objects. For teenagers, I focus on sentence formation, conversation starters, and expanding vocabulary. For adults, I specialize in practical English for real-life situations like business communication, ordering at restaurants, navigating travel by airplane, train, or bus, and much more.
My TEFL certification has given me the tools and techniques to create customized lessons that cater to your individual needs. Whether you're looking to improve your conversational English, build confidence for business settings, or prepare for travel, I’m here to guide you every step of the way. Whatever your interests are, I’m happy to tailor lessons to help you learn what you need and make progress quickly.
