My name is Roman.
Here is my education trajectory and teaching route:
I took my degree MA in Advanced English Studies at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, coupled with Teaching English for Academic Purposes from the Sheffield Hallam University, Diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of other Languages (DELTA) from the University of Cambridge.
Next, I completed four Modules of Teaching IELTS Course at the International House London, among others.
Further I continued my CPD courses at various institutes: I successfully finished two courses at the Oxford TEFL Barcelona, Teaching English for Academic Purposes and Teaching Business English, followed by Materials Development for Language Teaching, Testing, Evaluation and Assessment, English for Academic Purposes, Trainer Development and Syllabus Design and Development at the NILE (Norwich Institute of Language Education), all five courses completed with Distinctions.
Also I successfully graduated from two teaching university courses in Advanced Teaching English for Academic Purposes (TEAP) from the Sheffield-Hallam University and the University of Surrey upon which I was conferred a Merit. Next to this, I received a Merit on Cambridge DELTA Module 1 and 3 where my specialization was Legal English.
Through my qualifications and first-hand experiences, I developed expertise in imparting lessons to class by using Communicative Approach of English Language Teaching (CLT) during my General English teaching period and Task-Based (TBL) and Content-and-Language Integrated Teaching (CLIL) during my university teaching period while teaching English for Academic Purposes (EAP). I taught more than 2000 students (abroad) to whom I provided an individualized feedback on all four skills and linguistic/grammar points. Throughout the course, students built up, practised and developed both general and academic language skills and achieved set learning objectives and outcomes in their subject areas by acquiring specific competences and transferable skills.
In the Netherlands, I taught both in HAVO and VVO classes - bovenbouw.

I deliver high quality teaching to all those who wish to study English within a relatively short period of time. All my lessons are very motivating and interesting since I use the most interesting and newest topics next to interactive, student-centered activities maximizing “student talk time.” By engaging students in all 4 skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking) as well as 3 systems (grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation) students improve their accuracy and fluency within a very short time frame.
