Hi there!
My name is Caterina, but you can call me Cat. I am in my second year at the Honors College here in Maastricht, studying Environmental Science. I enjoy rock climbing, hiking, and reading a good book! Most importantly, I love to connect with people.
Language is the common way that we can all connect with each other, and especially English, has become a very important language for linking people from all over the world!
This is why I want to share my knowledge and expertise of the English language with you.
I have previous experience in both tutoring English to a variety of of students. I have also previously tutored students one-on-one in mathematics. I am very outgoing, and I create a laid back atmosphere so that students feel safe learning and growing with me.
I would love the change to meet you, and help your English flourish!

-I teach with an emphasis on meeting students where they are at, whether just learning English as a second language, or looking to upgrade to higher level proficiency for an academic setting. My classes are tailored to meet the needs of each individual students, and they include visual as well as auditory techniques. My classes are hands on, and I am very receptive to engagement from the student, so that I can see what they need more of.
-My classes range from 30-60 mins. Depending on the needs and age of my students.
-My qualifications comes from the Excellence Center, a for-profit organization that awarded me my teaching credentials after I taught English to refugees from Ukraine and Syria through their program. My experience lasted for 3-months, and I taught students with a variety of levels and ages.
-Children, teenagers, and adult learners are all welcome, although my expertise is with students, and helping them to level-up their English abilities as they transition into high school and university.
