Over Sarah
I hold a Doctorate in Physiotherapy from the United States and moved to the Netherlands with my family at the start of 2025. My travels have taken me across North America, Latin America, Africa, and now Europe—and with every journey has come the challenge of language learning. I am a native American English speaker with an advanced command of the language, from reading and writing medical journals to teaching neuroscience. Alongside this, I have studied Spanish, French, Wolof, and Dutch. I am excited to help you on your language learning journey!

I have studied four languages (Spanish, French, Wolof, and Dutch), so I know firsthand how challenging it is to become fluent. What I have learned is that immersion is the most effective way to truly learn, but it usually requires travel and a lot of logistics. That’s where I come in.
I offer one-hour immersion sessions where you’ll practice using your English as if you were abroad, all from the comfort of your home. You might feel flustered at times, and that’s okay because it’s part of the learning process. Together, we’ll work through those moments so you can build flexibility and confidence in the language. Fluency isn’t just about grammar and vocabulary, it’s about expressing yourself fully and letting your personality shine.

Ik heb vier talen gestudeerd (Spaans, Frans, Wolof en Nederlands) en ik weet uit ervaring hoe moeilijk het is om echt vloeiend te worden. Wat ik heb geleerd, is dat onderdompeling de meest effectieve manier is om een taal te leren, maar dat vraagt meestal om reizen en veel organisatie. Daar kom ik in beeld.
Ik bied immersiesessies van een uur aan waarin je Engels oefent alsof je in het buitenland bent, gewoon vanuit je eigen huis. Je kunt je soms wat onzeker voelen, en dat is helemaal goed, want het hoort bij het leerproces. Samen gaan we door die momenten heen, zodat je flexibiliteit en vertrouwen in de taal opbouwt. Vloeiend spreken gaat niet alleen over grammatica en woordenschat, maar vooral over jezelf kunnen uitdrukken en je persoonlijkheid laten stralen.
