Over Kenniskrachtinstituut

Hi, I’m Fabiénne! I am a cum laude graduate in Dutch language teaching and a qualified language specialist, with a strong passion for language, education, and helping others reach their full potential.

Over the past nine years, I have gained extensive experience in one-to-one tutoring, alongside six years of teaching in the classroom. These experiences have taught me how differently people learn and how important it is to adapt my approach to each individual.

I later founded my own educational company, Kenniskracht Instituut, where I provide a range of educational services. I teach language skills and reading comprehension to children, offer Dutch exam preparation for secondary school students, and provide Dutch as a Second Language (NT2) lessons to international learners. This variety of experience allows me to work with different ages, backgrounds, and learning needs.

As a teacher, I value effectiveness, structure, and personal attention. I like to work towards clear goals and make sure that every lesson has a purpose. I am always happy to think along with you, find solutions, and adapt my approach to what works best for you. You can count on me to be reliable, well-prepared, and committed to the agreements we make.

Just as important to me is creating a positive and relaxed learning environment. I want you to feel completely comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and learning at your own pace. In my experience, people learn best when they feel safe, supported, and understood.

My goal is to combine professional expertise with a personal approach, so that you not only improve your Dutch but also enjoy the learning process and feel confident in your progress.

I look forward to getting to know you and helping you achieve your goals!

Would you like to learn Dutch with confidence, improve your communication skills, or prepare for life, work, or studies in the Netherlands? I’m Fabiénne, a qualified Dutch language teacher and language specialist with 9 years of teaching experience. I graduated cum laude and have extensive experience helping students develop their Dutch language skills in a structured, effective, and engaging way.

Why learn with me?
My academic background and professional experience allow me to offer more than just language lessons. As a teacher and language specialist, I have an in-depth understanding of language structure, grammar, and language acquisition. I know how to explain complex topics in a clear, accessible way and help you understand not only what to say, but also why.

I combine my professional expertise with a personal approach, adapting my teaching methods to your level, learning style, and individual goals. Whether you are a complete beginner or looking to refine your existing Dutch skills, I will help you make meaningful progress.

What I offer
-Dutch lessons for all levels – from beginners to advanced learners.
-NT2 training – personalised support for learners of Dutch as a second language.
-Grammar and vocabulary – clear explanations and practical exercises to help you understand and apply the language.
-Speaking and listening practice – develop your fluency and confidence in everyday conversations.
-Professional and academic Dutch – improve your language skills for work, education, or other specific situations.
-Personalised online lessons – learn from the comfort of your own home, in a familiar and relaxed environment.
-A personalised approach focused on your goals

Your goals are my starting point. I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach or a standard learning plan. Instead, I create a personalised programme based entirely on your needs, current level, interests, and ambitions.

Every lesson and exercise is carefully prepared specifically for you. This means we focus on the areas where you need the most support and use our time effectively. Whether you want to improve your speaking skills, strengthen your grammar, expand your vocabulary, prepare for an NT2 exam, or feel more confident using Dutch at work, we work together towards clear, achievable goals.

Every lesson has a purpose, and every exercise is designed to help you move forward. You will receive targeted guidance, constructive feedback, and practical materials that match your personal learning journey.

Learn Dutch with confidence
I believe that learning a language should be both effective and enjoyable. My aim is to create a supportive environment where you feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and practising at your own pace.

With my academic qualifications, cum laude degree, nine years of teaching experience, and expertise in language learning, I can help you build a strong foundation in Dutch and develop the skills you need to use the language with confidence.

All lessons take place online, allowing you to learn comfortably from your own familiar environment, wherever you are.

Ready to achieve your Dutch language goals?
I look forward to working with you and creating a learning plan that is truly tailored to you!
