Hi! My name is Queeny and I'm a native Dutch speaker, born and raised in the Netherlands. Growing up in a bilingual household, I quickly recognized the importance of speaking a language to communicate and how deeply culture influences one's understanding of a language. This inspired me to help others to learn a language, as I witnessed firsthand through my parents' experiences, how difficult it can be.
My passion for languages led me to pursue a degree in English Language and Culture. Currently, I'm improving my own language skills by learning to read and write in Chinese.

I make use of several teaching methods, as I like to adapt my lessons to the needs of my students. During our first lesson, we will discuss your language learning goals, interests and other preferences. Based on that, I will create a personalized lesson plan to achieve those goals, which could always be altered along the way.
Students are always free to make use of their own study materials. I also provide guidance to prepare for NT2 and/or other Dutch language tests.
I have worked as a tutor for over 3 years, mainly tutoring students between 8-16, for various subjects, like Dutch, English, math and chemistry
If you decide to take your Dutch lessons with me, your lessons will be interactive, educative and fun! My lessons will typically be 1 hour long, but shorter or longer lessons could be arranged.
