My name is Ashley, I am a qualified and experienced native English language teacher from Australia. I have been teaching for seven years.
I am from Brisbane, the country's third largest city and the capital of Queensland ("The Sunshine State").
After graduating as an English language teacher seven years ago, I have worked in private, public, primary and secondary schools as well as continuing education colleges, adult and tertiary education facilities, in private homes and in large company headquarters, for example a Siemens engineering HQ in Germany.
I teach all levels of General English, from elementary to advanced (A1-C2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).
I also teach Cambridge English, English for Specific Purposes and Business English.
As well as English, I also tutor other subjects at primary and secondary levels, such as history, Italian, geography, social sciences and humanities. The language of instruction is always in English, so please let me know if you would like general tutoring in English.
I have worked in Germany, Australia, Italy and the UK.
At the moment, I am in Australia until the beginning of July, after which time I will be living in Papendrecht. At the moment, I offer online lessons.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Arts in Languages from the University of New England (Australia)
CELTA Certificate from Navitas Australia (accredited by Cambridge University) (Australia/UK)

My method of teaching depends completely on the student and how he/she wishes to conduct his/her learning, for example, some students prefer to speak and do very little writing. Other students prefer me to demonstrate as much as possible using pen and paper or online platforms such as zoom and teams. Each student has his/her own style and this is something we can discuss and modify together.

My rate is 20 euros an hour. I will also provide homework if the student wishes.
Until July, I will be conducting lessons online only, as I am in Australia until July, when I will move to Papendrecht. After July, we can decide together whether the lessons will take place online or in person.
